Within a month, the pandemic covered all fifty states, and by the end of March 2020, the United States was already ranked first on the planet in terms of the number of infected people, overtaking all other countries, including China and the most disadvantaged country in this regard, Italy, in which highest number of cases per capita. And by April 11, the United States became the leader in the number of deaths from coronavirus infection.
Thus, according to official data, every tenth citizen of the country was ill, sick or died from Covid-19.
